The Roaring 2000s :: Leopard Print + Black Mules

Are we co-opting the Roaring 20s for the Roaring 2000s yet?🐯 Because it feels like an apt thing to do given how often the leopard/animal print trend train has circled around the fashion scene ever since I became an informed member of it. Which is a few years at the most, so read as: very often. Nothing to dislike about it for me, though, because I’ve been a registered fan throughout… see proof here and here. By now, a small but significant section of my closet looks basically like I’m a cast member of Cats.

Just FYI, this assumption is completely fine by me, since it’s probably the closest I’ll come to living out my fantasy of being someone with zero stage fright. Le sigh.

Self-deprecatory jokes aside, this recently thrifted turtleneck has been on repeat, you guys. I shy away from wearing bold prints to work, but this subdued spotted piece has even been a weekday hit! These buttery soft mules (scroll below for 25% off!) are another recent addition to my wardrobe staples, they go with everything and are so effortlessly chic. 💯

Speaking of chic, I’ve been feeling all kinds of it with a capital C since my haircuttttt! You’ve probably seen it if you follow me on social media but this being the blog debut and all…💁🏽
For those in the Bay Area, let me dish on the FACT that Armando, at Onyx Salon (in Burlingame), is your new mane man. If your memory assists, you’ll remember that I had a lot of really long hair, that I’m super protective of… but Armando took my OCD harassment into stride like a boss! He gave me the color and cut of my dreams, making me feel like a load was off of my head. Literally, ha!

Thank you for reading and have a wonderful weekend!
XO Sushmitha :)
