Greetings from the North Pole, my friends! I gotta tell ya, living in a snow globe has it's pros and cons for a fashion blogger. The cons, of course, are the same as for anyone, the biggest being that life seems bleak and colorless with a high possibility of a SAD diagnosis. #nobigdeal The pros, however, include celebrity-like feelings from getting the most awestruck stares from people at the sight of bare-legged you walking in high heels on ice and snow, the opportunity to hone the skill of blowing 'breath rings' as I call them, and the prettiest pristine backdrop to all of the pictures. You may have inferred from this most logical analysis of mine that I'm moving to warm weather ASAP. (Don't judge, east coasters, you know you want to, too!)
My life goals aside, here's a little seasonal goal for you if you haven't already achieved it.. go and get you some faux fur! Pastel faux fur would be even better in my opinion, since I've been practically obsessed with my blush pink vest since receiving it as a birthday gift from a dear friend. I was wary of it's versatility at first, but I'm happy to report that I'm yet to find an outfit that isn't made better by it! Pastels and faux fur are individually big this season, so what's not to love when the two combine so prettily?!
You've mostly seen me in statement jewelry thus far, but there's something so feminine and sophisticated about delicate pieces such as these Lucy Mint necklaces. The handstamped, gold-filled, 'Joy' bar necklace is my current favorite layering piece, and how can one not love pink druzy necklaces?! Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, I've teamed up with sweet Elissa of Lucy Mint to give one lucky person $20 store credit on my Instagram later today, so be sure to enter! :)
