Spring greetings to you, my friends! As the country celebrates the official advent of Spring, of course us poor souls in the North East are welcoming (not!) a fresh blanket of snow and windchills. But the first official weekend of Spring warranted bright colors and shoes that were not boots, so out the door I went on Saturday in this very casual, very PINK outfit! A tee, my favorite light wash ripped skinnies, a popper of a topper and Starbucks.. outfit planning couldn't get any easier. :)
Even as I spent a happy Saturday in this outfit, enjoying all the blessings of a normal life, I carried an important message with me to the grocery store, to lunch, to the mall and everywhere else that I went that day.. thanks to this simple white tee that speaks for all those unable to lead a normal life due to the evil acts of hate and racism. It reads 'Red and Yellow, Black and White.. They are precious in His sight.', and perfectly vocalizes what the world should be saying in unison, very loudly. As acts of intolerance, ignorance, hate and discrimination amongst human beings get more heinous by the day, spreading awareness, kindness and love seems to be the one thing we can all do. I was so honored when asked by Be Still Clothing Clothing Company to express solidarity against discrimination as part of their Red and Yellow, Black and White Movement.. I encourage you all to do the same and take a stand.. you can wear a tee, you can help a neighbor, or you can simply smile at a stranger.. Choose Love!
Delicate gold jewelry to complete the look.. this Some Velvet Morning druzy cuff is my current favorite! (Petites, this bracelet is adjustable! Woot!)
