Post two from the hot and humid depths of inland Florida, you guys! I was slightly disappointed when I found out that we were too far from any of the warm Florida beaches, but never mind that, because a single day into the trip, we were as wet as we'd ever be. :| After camping all day by the pool, we finally mustered the courage to spend the evening window-shopping and serial-eating ice cream at Disney Springs before getting dinner at Chef Morimoto's (of Iron Chef fame!) Morimoto Asia. It turned out to be the best kind of evening! Just as we settled into the restaurant's outdoor patio for a drink or two before dinner, the unpredictable Floridian skies clouded over and a glorious long shower serenaded us. :) That and the bomb sushi we ate afterwards.. definitely one of the highlights of our time in Orlando!
This outfit almost, just almost, did the trick in in the intense heat! A light and airy off-the-shoulder blouse (love the color scheme in this floral print for fall, too!) and an envelope skort, paired with some comfy and cute faux-suede lace-up heels.. almost kept me from melting away. I tied the lace at my ankles so they wouldn't slip down while walking around, but they look so cute tied all the way up as well!
