End of Summer Blues

Happy Friday, dearies! Another friday, another beach-ready weekend look! Sadly for you and me (okay, mostly me!), this is most likely the last of the steady series of blog posts I've had coming this past summer by the water. Well, we shot these photos in an adorable little corner we discovered a little away from the beach, but close enough, right?? Being the water baby that I am, too little of my beloved watery blues is sure to be giving me the blues soon.. how's that for irony? :| Bear with my twisted logic, but since this is is still the week in which we bid summer goodbye, I'm talking about this gorgeous turquoise blue cover-up as a last hurrah.

You guys have to be familiar with Pitusa by now (see this post and this post if you aren't), and this maxi dress is just one more gem from their arsenal of vibrant, comfortable and functional resort-wear. Thanks to the oh-so-soft fabric and the bright colors, it's quickly become a personal favorite in the cover-up department, but I also love that with some simple layering underneath, it can fit right in on the city streets. I barely accessorized as I was spending all day under the midday sun, but I could definitely picture it being worn at a patio brunch with neutral accessories like a straw sun hat and camel brown wedges.

Thank you for reading and have a fun weekend!
XO Sushmitha :)
