Hiya, friends! I hope your week's been off to a great start, or as I like to deem as a more realistic wish for myself, that it isn't time to call the week a complete washout just as yet. Take the hope and run with it while you can! ;) Speaking of runs, you guys, physical exercise is what comes to mind when I think back to this sunny San Francisco day when we shot this look. As a soon to be San Francisco resident, 'walk'ing is about to take on a whole new meaning! K and I spent one amazing day being SF explorers while I was in the bay area for the holidays, and it's safe to say that our photo-shoot break was much appreciated after the uphill climbs all morning. We made sure to take in the cityscape views from the top (isn't it amazing?!) before checking out the famed Painted Ladies and some local eats.
You saw this faux leather biker jacket just last week in this post, and here it is again topping another favorite shirt. Embroidered updates to classic pieces have been popular this season, such as this floral update to a classic striped buttondown that's a budget alternative ($18!) to an original Zara piece. It ran a bit large on my frame so I originally tied it up at the waist, but it came undone at some point and it took Kushal's critical eye ;) to notice that the cropped jacket looked better that way. I had to agree when I saw the pictures! Let it be documented in digital history that my husband's apparently astute in petite proportion play. ;)
