If I were in Paris..

If there's one word that describes my perpetual state of mind, it's wanderlust. I've always known that to see as much of the world as possible is my ultimate ambition, and this only seems to grow into a stronger conviction each time I set foot in a new place for another new experience. K and my most favorite hours are spent scheming up adventures to go on in the near or far future, with or without the visual aids of the travel/food show we watched the previous night. ;) Every once in a while, though, the next adventure seems a little too far ahead, which is when a little play-and-pretend helps just a teeny tiny bit! Take this particular day, for example, when stubborn daydreams of Paris led to my stepping out on the town in this French girl inspired outfit. Not sure about you, but I can picture myself in Paris in it wandering back from the pâtisserie around the corner with a baguette in hand and a smile on my lips. :)

I last wore these culottes on vacation in India (post here) and have been itching to style them differently since! Along with everything else from the 70's that's been making the trend rounds lately, culottes and scarf neck ties are trending majorly.. I personally love how retro mod they make the look. :) But as I dug through my closet to catch a hold of them, I realized the lack of love my older clothes have had in recent times. Since then, I have excitedly set aside several old favorites to style, so stick around for some oldies but goodies in upcoming posts!

Thank you for reading and have a fabulous week!
XO Sushmitha :)
