Mustard Lace Dress: Denver, Colorado

On the only night K and I had together in Denver, we stayed at the cutest little AirBnB apartment in the Santa Fe Arts District, only a short drive away from all the busy downtown spots like Larimer Square and the 16th Street Mall. We've made it a little tradition of ours to have one celebratory meal every time we meet during this long distance phase and even though we invariably end up picking that local hole-in-the-wall taco place over anywhere fancy, the intention to just truly enjoy each other's company always makes it something to look forward to. :)

Needless to say, I (over)dressed for the occasion ;), but can you really blame me? This mustard yellow lace dress had me at hello! It's the loveliest color for all your fall festivities, the lace panels are made of the prettiest floral prints and the daring front and back necklines are perfectly balanced by the full modest skirt. Just a warning if you're considering it, it runs small (the Small is a bit too snug on me) so make sure to size up!

Colorado had the most amazing warm fall nights while we were there, so all I needed was this lightweight faux-suede jacket that's become a staple in my closet this season. The moto suede jacket is THE jacket of the moment, and this one's definitely one of the more budget- and petite-friendly options I've found so far! Also in the mix- these classic T-strap pumps that are as comfy as they are chic.

Thanks so much for reading and have a great weekend ahead!
