One windy, blustery mess of a day a couple of weeks ago, I wore this perfect summer outfit out for lunch with friends. Given my permanent state of amnesia when it comes to checking weather forecasts, this should not have surprised and hence, annoyed me. But it did. To the extent that I was yelling at the Gods in the sky like a mad woman on a crowded street.The Gods answered with a long and heavy downpour (of course! Not the first FML moment of the day, thankfully.), leaving us with just about five minutes to shoot these pictures.

Added to all of the ghastly things that are currently happening in the world (such as war, you guys. In 2014.) is the fact that Fall seems to have taken the fastest plane there is to arrive a month early here in Buffalo. Its been so chilly and rainy here lately that I most definitely have developed frown lines. Not to forget the intense scorned lover type feelings from the sudden taking off of summer.
